Hospice coming to life

The second chapter of this ongoing project shows the wonderful space coming to life with colour, light and furnishings. I have tried to capture the warmth and anticipation of the staff as they prepare to receive residents. There was a real excitement in the building as funding had been secured and the hospice was moving towards being ready for those who were to end their life’s journey in these beautiful surroundings.
All the images for this project are to be taken on a Hasselblad medium format film camera that belonged to a dear friend and photographer who sadly passed away in a care home whilst these amazing facilities remained empty.
